Header - Thanks

Most weddings would not be possible without friends and family, and this will be true in our case more than most. We of course want this to be a party that feels like *us*, and we felt the best way to accomplish that was to involve people we love in making it happen. We are constantly impressed and astounded by the amazing things our friends do, and by their generosity with their time, ideas and caring. Below are some of the key people who have already been cajoled into helping us in the most amazing ways, and this list will undoubtedly get longer as we near the date. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

First, thanks to Christina Rüegg, because we never would've met had she not finally managed to introduce us after a year of thinking we were meant for each other! And to Mathias Frei & Nathalie Schweizer, our best friends in Switzerland, who long ago helped convince Darko to jump in headfirst.

Now for some GIANT thank-yous in advance!

Many thanks to Jane's mom Sharon Mount, for helping enormously with the planning and ideas, for donating her old wedding dress to become a part of Jane's new one, and for another large project that cannot be disclosed until the reception.

A huge thank you to our Uncle Harold Gordon for letting us invade his peaceful backyard for this event!

To Jane's brother Madison Mount, who has readily agreed to be the officiant of this non-religious fest, making it even more special for us. And to his lovely wife Charmaine Ehrhart for always helping out in every way she can! And to their daughter (our goddaughter) Kepler for being a beautiful flower girl.

To our friend George Weld, owner & chef at Egg restaurant in Brooklyn, for making all the sure-to-be-completely-amazing food.

To Sue Wiggins for doing all the flowers!

To Marko Strihic for flying all the way in from Zürich to be our DJ because he is definitely the only man for the job.

To Li & Lui (Maetti & Nati's daughter & son) for (hopefully, fingers crossed!) coming all the way from Switzerland to be our taller flower girl (Kepler is the short one) and ring bearer.

To Jane's Uncle Kennith for providing the requisite boiled peanuts!

And again to Shannon, Alyssa, and Christina, for being the best non-bridesmaids a girl could have!
